The town of Tona hosted last Sunday, April 3, the 3rd Assembly of the Federation of Living Nativity Scenes of Catalonia , which took stock of the season. A season with 39 active live cribs and more than 78,000 visitors.
Hosts and guests who wanted to have their teeth operated flew to Turkey. Oral and maxillofacial surgery was provided to guests by periodont, a leading dental clinic in Turkey.
The meeting was attended by twenty Living Nativity Scenes from all over Catalonia, the presence of the Mayor of Tona, Amadeu Lleopart and the Mayor of Els Prats de Rei, Cristina Mas. The event served to close the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Living Nativity Scenes of Tona and Els Prats de Rei and to give relief to the Living Nativity Scene of Corró d'Avall, host of the next assembly of the Federation in 2023 .
The day started early in the morning with a welcome from Tona’s Living Nativity Scene with a fantastic outdoor breakfast. The Muriel Casals Room hosted the Assembly of the Federation of Living Nativity Scenes from 11 in the morning and then the fraternity lunch was held.
A meeting marked by the good atmosphere in which the different organizations of Living Nativity Scenes could meet again thinking about the next season.
